Giuseppe Ferrante
Giuseppe Ferrante was born in 1948 in Castrovillari, where he is still working and living.
He earned a Bachelor's degreee in Economics and Business and then he started to teach at the high school, but he never lost his deep passion for painting.
Since he was a child, he loved to express himself through colours and draws and in the early 60’s, he made his first oil painting as a self-thought.
Friendships and contacts with artists and professional painters encouraged his enthusiasm for Art and improved his painting skills.
The most common subjects in his works are still-life nature, landscapes, sunsets and memories from his life, represented with a personal style clearly identifiable thanks to the excellent use of shadows and lights.
He also took part in different collective exhibitions.
